A conference was held the end of March at the Kentucky Downs Race Track in Franklin, KY. The conference was excellent with presentations on the Kentucky Breeders Incentive Fund, KEEP, horse real estate in Simpson County, KY, horse care etc. We were honored to host a tour of our farm as part of the conference. Simpson County, KY has several horse related projects planned to bring a variety of horses/owners to our county. 

Our Franklin Rotary Club recently had international exchange guests from Japan in Franklin. They visited our farm and 3 out of 4 of them were brave enough to ride a horse. We enjoyed having them as afternoon guests and getting to know them at dinner. 

As reining is an international sport - perhaps we can export some horses to Japan.
